Thru Node Runtime

The Thru Node is a runtime that allows Thru cloud to fully orchestrate the node to directly access local folders and folder structures on a local area network, by creating a File Share endpoint.

The node is installed on a local device and then configured to communicate with an instance of Thru.

The Thru Node connects to Thru cloud over HTTPS with token-based authentication. Connection direction is always from Thru Node to the cloud, meaning there is no need to open any inbound ports in a corporate firewall when Node is installed on an internal network.

The node also allows cross folder delivery and exporting on local devices.

This functionality is controlled and configured via the cloud in Thru’s Flow Studio and in the Organization Endpoint.
